Looking Up

Its been a few months since my last photograph was posted. I’ve been suffering a bit of a creative hiatus. Or rather a particular lack of vision. To put it another way - I’ve been not feeling the imagery, emotions or descriptions in pictures. Things have been kind of flat.

Then I look at a photograph I took in February and it starts to unveil itself to me. Or rather it starts to unveil the inner picture. The view that I want to bring to you. Its a bit like a sculptor seeing the 3 dimensional. Its fundamental to how I create work. I take photographs and then “sculpt” out something that I see in it.

Always hoping that what I see says appeals to someone and says something to someone.

Thats the process.

It has a kind of natural flow.

Thats the trouble with things that flow they can dry up

Then again flows can surge and can be powerful and unstoppable.
