Web Design Tool Case:

You might wonder why I’m recommending you to a blog about web site design? It’s a very fair question. If you take a good look at Web Design Tool Case you’ll find that it is not just a technical codex. Its full of inspirational design material.

Very handy if you want to create a web site to support your great works, and very handy if web creation is your thing and you want to see some new ideas. Some of the material thought aimed at the web is helpful on good old fashioned design too. So something for everyone.

Sources of Inspiration:

Its the last day of 2011 so how about something to help out with inspiration in 2012. This post is photography centric - but a lot of these suggestions will help out anyone in search of inspiration.

Merry Christmas from Lightworx:

I’ve gotten to see quite a few ecards this year, but this one from Lightworx is my favourite to date - great animation, full of fun and great to see the Lightworx staff as dancing elves

Beautiful Winter Photography:

With Christmas almost upon Us I thought it good a idea to include soem wonderful Winter photographs

This video has been declared the most searched from in the UK for 2011. It certanly is funny. Its also a perfect storm of all the parts a massivley viral video needs - a cute animal, humour and a streak of plausibility in the fantasy part. They also gave the dog a good accent that really works too.

Graff City - Spray Paint and Graffiti Supplies:

I just want to give a mention to Graff City - an online shop that specialises in supplying paint and other supplies to Graffiti artists. What I’ve noticed is that this shop has commited and friendly staff that take time to respond to requests and queries by email, facebook and twitter. I thing its important in an electronic world to not just sell to artists, or promote artists but to also help them make good choices when picking up the tools of their trade.

So that’s a big well done to Graff City.

Please Fund Us:

I recently discovered pleasefund.us via Twitter and had to take a look at their web site and Facebook page. They are British crowdsourcing platform designed to help creatives crowd source funding for their projects. The idea is simple - you list a project that you want funding for and please fund us will help you promote the project and gain your funding.

The link above is for the web site and below is a link to the Facebook Group

Just how marvellous is our world and the universe

Epic Nature:

Epic Nature collects nature photographs from all over the web. In fact as the name suggests these are “Epic” shots. Sometimes the word epic gets overused - but in fact these really are great images. The photos tend to attract a good number of comments. I’m certainly looking forward to seeing more images curated on this blog
